W ostatnim czasie w dużym stopniu z prasy, telewizji oraz radia docierają informację o torbach biodegradowalnych. Dlatego też w wielu miejscach, a przede wszystkim w sklepach i hipermarketach torby ekologiczne papierowe dostępne są w różnych rozmiarach i całej palecie kolorów. Są trwałe ale na dłuższą metę znajdą się lepsze produkty.
